James Guarente of GZA Promoted to Senior Project Manager

NORWOOD MA…ISSUED JULY 13, 2011… GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., a leading environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, announces that James Guarente has been promoted to Senior Project Manager at GZA GeoEnvironmental’s Metro Boston office.

A resident of Nashua, NH, Guarente joined GZA in January of 1993 as a geotechnical engineer.  Currently his work focuses primarily on dam investigations/analyses and remedial repair design/construction projects.  Throughout his tenure at GZA he has also served as a Resident Engineer during implementation and construction of several multi-million dollar dam repair/improvement projects.

Guarente earned his BS in Civil Engineering from Merrimack College and an MS in GeoEnvironmental Engineering from Tufts University.

He is a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Pennsylvania.  Guarente is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Association of State Dam Safety Officials.
