Blaine Rothauser Joins GZA as Senior Project Manager in New Jersey

FAIRFIELD, NJ…ISSUED MARCH 20, 2015… GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., a leading environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, announces that Blaine Rothauser of Florham Park, New Jersey has been named a Senior Project Manager in the Fairfield office.
Prior to joining GZA, Rothauser was founder and president of BR Environmental, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in habitat design and restoration, wetland delineation and environmental impact assessment on public and private lands.  Previously, he was Chief Biologist and Senior Naturalist with Thonet Associates, Inc.

Rothauser received a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation Biology from Unity College.

Rothauser sits on the Science and Technology Committee of the Great Swamp Watershed Association; is a science advisor for the Highlands Coalition; a member of New Jersey’s Entomological Society; on the Natural Heritage Committee; and was Chairman of the My Towns Environmental Commission from 2008 to 2012. 

He provides outreach and education for the New Jersey Conservation Foundation, the Great Swamp Watershed Foundation and the Pinelands Preservation Alliance.

Rothauser’s volunteer efforts bring him in contact with numerous civic groups, non-profit environmental organizations and academia at all levels throughout the state of New Jersey.
