As a member of the GZA team for over 24 years now, Ron Breton is a Senior Principal and Senior Vice President and possesses more than 38 years of experience in the environmental engineering field. He is responsible for the management of a wide selection of environmental management, compliance, engineering, and occupational health & safety projects.
Mr. Breton provides a broad range of technical services to a wide range of client sectors including industrial, power, institutional, and governmental. His areas of specialization include due diligence services associated with acquisition/divestation of industrial and commercial properties, design of industrial wastewater treatment facilities, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System and Publicly Owned Treatment Works permitting, hazardous and solid waste management, Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act Title III assistance, SPCC/Contingency Planning, multimedia environmental compliance auditing, enforcement support, and environmental management systems.
Mr. Breton earned his Bachelor of Arts in Physical Geography from the University of California-Santa Barbara and his Master of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. He is a professional engineer licensed in NH, MA, ME, and VT.
His professional activities include membership in the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Council of Engineering Companies, and the Environmental Business Council. Mr. Breton has also served on the Environmental Affairs Committee for the NH Business and Industry Association since 1990.
