Blaine Rothauser Joins GZA as Senior Project Manager in New Jersey

FAIRFIELD, NJ…ISSUED MARCH 20, 2015… GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., a leading environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, announces that Blaine Rothauser of Florham Park, New Jersey has been named a Senior Project Manager in the Fairfield office.
Prior to joining GZA, Rothauser was founder and president of BR Environmental, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in habitat design and restoration, wetland delineation and environmental impact assessment on public and private lands.  Previously, he was Chief Biologist and Senior Naturalist with Thonet Associates, Inc.

Jonathan J. Pickering Joins GZA as Senior Project Manager

Mary B. Hall, P.E.

Mary is currently serving as the Chief of Staff Development and is a member of the Board of Directors.  She previously managed the firm’s Boston office and has been with GZA for over 30 years. 

A geotechnical engineer by training, Hall specializes in evaluating geotechnical and environmental conditions and their potential impact on development and infrastructure projects for both private and public clients.

Peter Baril, P.E.

Peter is a Principal and Senior Hydrologic Engineer in GZA’s Water Services Group.  At the corporate level, he is the Lead for GZA’s Dams & Water Resources Technical Practice Group.  He has over 34 years of consulting experience (the last 27 with GZA) in the areas of groundwater, surface water hydrology, and hydraulics. 

Samuel J. Bell

Sam Bell is a Senior Hazard Mitigation Specialist and Senior Planner with over 15 years of leadership experience dedicated to building more resilient and livable communities.  He presently serves as a Team Leader in the Water Group for Climate Change and Hazard Planning in the Norwood district office where he provides senior management of Mitigation, Resiliency and Risk Management projects.

Chad W. Cox, P.E.

Chad Cox joined GZA in 1998 and is a Principal and Senior Vice President.  Additionally, he has been named to serve on the Company’s 2018-2020 Board of Directors, and as such, will participate in the leadership and direction of the Company.

Chad presently leads GZA’s Dams Practice Group and is head of the Small Hydropower Initiative.  His areas of specialization include dam safety and design, hydroelectric engineering, water resources engineering and geotechnical engineering.

Russell J. Morgan, P.E.

Russ Morgan has been with GZA for over 25 years and is a Principal and Senior Vice President.  He presently manages the Providence district office and provides senior management of Geotechnical and Marine projects. He has also been named to serve on the company’s 2015-2017 Board of Directors and as such, will participate in the leadership and direction of the Company.
