Resource management, permitting and regulatory approval are key and necessary components to coastal, waterfront and off-shore construction. GZA’s environmental scientists and engineers support applicants with permit preparation by performance of related environmental studies and completion of permit applications.
Studies include:
- Diagnostic and Limnological Studies
- Inland and Tidal Wetland Surveys and Impact Assessments
- Wildlife and Habitat Evaluation and Ecological Risk Assessment
- Endangered Species Investigations
- Environmental Impact Assessments in compliance with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and related State programs
- Surface Water Permits, including National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and related State permits and State and Federal Wetlands Permits
- Water Quality Certificates, such as Water Quality Certifications, Coastal Consistency and Chapter 91 Permits and Waterways Permits for Dredging Projects in Navigable Waterways
