Nearby residents often complain that operations of such facilities make their lives unbearable. But is the cause of the complaint really from your landfill or a neighbor’s compost pile? Are the offensive emissions really from your chemical plant or from a nearby bus terminal?
GZA has the resources to characterize odorous pollutants, quantify the emissions, determine whether such emissions exceed odor thresholds at sensitive receptors and recommend air pollution control technologies to ameliorate adverse impacts. GZA also has the capability to perform ambient monitoring to determine concentrations of odorous contaminants in the community.
