Ecological & Wastewater Testing New England Bioassay, a division of GZA's Ecological and Wastewater Laboratory was established in 1986 to perform whole effluent toxicity (WET) testing of wastewater samples from industrial and municipal sources. Our services include screening, acute and chronic toxicity testing as well as TIE/TRE evaluations, product testing and soil & sediment testing. We have consistently earned high ratings on protocols submitted as a participant in the WET Testing portion of EPA’s annual DMR-QA Performance Evaluation Program.
Environmental Chemistry Analyses
GZA's Environmental Chemistry Laboratory (ECL) is a facility that supports the environmental investigations of our technical staff. Our laboratory is certified by the MADEP as well as many state agencies throughout the Northeast United States and is accredited by NELAC (National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference).Geotechnical & Rock Testing GZA's laboratories conduct a wide variety of tests on soil, rock and geomembrane materials. Our testing methods conform to the latest specifications of the American Society for Testing and Materials, American Association of State Highway Officials, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the U.S. Department of Transportation. The laboratory is certified by AASHTO and validated by the USACOE.
