Frank S. Vetere of GZA GeoEnvironmental promoted to Associate Principal

NEWBURYPORT AND NORWOOD MA…ISSUED JULY 20, 2012… GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., a leading environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, announces that Frank S. Vetere, P.E., L.S.P. has been promoted to Associate Principal at GZA GeoEnvironmental’s Newburyport, MA office.


A resident of West Newbury, MA Vetere joined GZA in February of 2008; previously he was Principal, Director of Technical Services with Gemini Geotechnical Associates, Inc. in North Hampton, NH.  His areas of specialization are environmental and geotechnical engineering, construction oversight, remediation systems and hazardous waste assessments. 

Vetere, who prior to his recent promotion was a Senior Project Manager with GZA, has more than 37 years of experience in all aspects of geotechnical engineering, environmental analyses, hazardous waste remediation and construction monitoring.  He has also provided expert witness testimony in support of both geotechnical and environmental based claims and legal proceedings.

Vetere holds a B. S. C.E. in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, NY and an M.S.C.E. in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering from Rutgers University.  He is a registered Licensed Site Professional in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, Florida, Illinois, Ohio, North Carolina, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut and New York.  Vetere’s professional memberships include the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Licensed Site Professionals Association.
