DETROIT, MI AND NORWOOD MA…ISSUED JULY 20, 2011… GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., a leading environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, announces that Jennifer Calnen has been promoted to Senior Project Manager at GZA GeoEnvironmental’s Detroit, MI office.
A resident of Troy, MI, Calnen joined GZA in November of 2008 as a Project Manager, with a professional focus on Clean Air Act compliance related activities, including Title V permits, compliance and deviation report development/review, and legal interface for review and resolution of environmental audit findings. Currently, Calnen is managing a multi-year, cross functional large scale compliance and auditing program for a major automotive company, as well as managing and conducting various regulatory reporting projects for manufacturing clients, including Toxic Inventory Release and air fee emission reporting.
Prior to joining GZA, Calnen was with Vision Environmental, Inc. with a focus on Clean Air Act compliance programs and regulatory reporting, primarily for the automotive industry.
Calnen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health from Bowling Green State University. She is a member of the Air & Waste Management Association (AWMA), serving as a Committee Chair for the East Michigan AWMA Chapter. Calnen is also a participating member of the Michigan Manufacturer’s Association (MMA) Air Quality Advisory Committee.
