Oil & Gas

Development of unconventional shale gas in the Northern Appalachian basin, particularly in the Marcellus and Utica shale plays, has significantly changed the worldwide domestic energy market.

Conventional oil and gas exploration, production, and transmission have been part of the region for decades; however, the increase in activity in unconventional plays has created extraordinary growth and development.
