Tom Sexton is a Senior Project Manager for GZA, working from its Hingham and Norwood offices. Tom brings more than 30 years of water resources engineering experience as well as a full range of support services to his post at GZA; he has served as a consultant to water suppliers and public works departments throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
His area of specialization is municipal water resources engineering. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University. He is a professional engineer licensed in MA.
Dr. Carchedi's. a Senior Principal has been with GZA for more than 30 years. His areas of experience include soil and foundation engineering, with a major emphasis in the design of site improvement projects, deep foundations, marine structures, earth support systems, and other heavy construction. His geotechnical experience is complemented with an extensive background in structural design.
Rasim Tumer joined GZA’s Contractor Services Division in 2007. He has diverse experience in the heavy civil industry; specializing in geo-structural engineering services such as foundation design, temporary and permanent earth support structures, tunnels, temporary work trestles, reinforced concrete & steel design. His technical background includes skills in AutoCAD and various computational, geotechnical and structural engineering software.
As a member of the GZA team for over 24 years now, Ron Breton is a Senior Principal and Senior Vice President and possesses more than 38 years of experience in the environmental engineering field. He is responsible for the management of a wide selection of environmental management, compliance, engineering, and occupational health & safety projects.
Matthew Taylor joined GZA in 2007, is an Associate Principal and Vice President, and serves as the Technical Service Area Lead for GZA’s Dams Practice Group in the Metro-Boston office.
Matt’s areas of expertise include dam and levee safety inspections, seepage and stability analyses, Emergency Action Plans, small hydropower feasibility studies, development of dam rehabilitation contract documents, preparation of permit applications, and construction administration for dam rehabilitation and dam removal projects.
David M. Leone, P.E. is a Vice President and Hydraulic Engineer at GZA based in the metropolitan Boston area. He has been with GZA for over 17 years and specializes in hydrology and hydraulic engineering.
