$7.4 Million Available for Community Action Grants in Maine

The State of Maine Governor’s Office of Policy Innovation and the Future (GOPIF) has announced that its annual Community Action Grantsare now open. Up to $7.48 million is available for communities for activities on the List of Community Actions. With funding from NOAA, the maximum grant award has been increased to $75,000 for individual communities and $175,000 for joint community grants. The deadline for applications is December 17th, 2024.
Any member of the state’s Community Resilience Partnership can apply, and grants that align with the state’s climate action plan will not require local matching funds. Actions that support other community climate priorities will require matching funds.
