“… I wanted to thank you and your team for all your assistance with the Beaver Brook wetland restoration project near the Woodland Cemetery in Keene. The complex nature of this restoration site, which included the removal of potentially impacted fill in the area of historic wetlands posed many challenges, the least of which was not “unexpected” surprises. From the early stages of the project, GZA’s background and expertise with mildly contaminated soils as well as wetland ecology was invaluable to moving the project forward. …”
Melinda Bubier, DES Wetland Mitigation Program Specialist
GZA designs practical mitigation and restoration projects that we guide through to completion, whether it is filing the deed on a conservation parcel or overseeing construction and monitoring for success. GZA's planners, scientists, engineers, and landscape architects work together to identify the right plan for each project. GZA routinely obtains agency approvals for a wide range of projects.

Once permits are obtained, GZA works with project teams to ensure permit conditions are included in contractor bid specifications, works closely with owners and contractor for field review and planning, and then we provide field support to ensure compliance is maintained throughout construction.
GZA tracks the construction project, documents permit compliance, and provides timely reporting to the project team to support the schedule and budget. At the conclusion of the project, GZA completes agency notifications and provides close-out documentation for our client's records.
