Creating a Resilient Marina

In the July/August 2025 issue of Marina Dock Age, Dan Stapleton, Matt Page, Jeff Taylor, and Wayne Cobleigh are the coauthors of “Creating a Resilient Marina.” In this article, the authors explore the measures marinas and other facilities can take to reduce vulnerability to property damage from extreme weather events and the effects of climate change. This preserves property value, helps mitigate insurance costs, and allows marina businesses to come back online rapidly after adverse weather events.

This is the final article of a three-article series focused on increasing marina resilience by assessing coastal storm risks and implementing measures to reduce property damage, operational disruption, and financial loss.
