Gary Paradoski joins GZA as Associate Principal in Chicagoland office

GZA is pleased to announce Gary Paradoski, P.E., has joined our Chicagoland office in Oak Brook, Ill as an Associate Principal.

A registered Professional Engineer in Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and five other states, Paradoski has extensive experience providing civil and site design and land development consulting services to clients constructing roads, bridges, sewers, wastewater treatment plants, educational facilities, manufacturing warehouses, office parks, and other vertical construction and infrastructure. Prior to joining GZA, he was Director of Engineering at MacKay and its Chicago-based subsidiary 2IM Group.

Past projects he has worked on include the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Campus Landscape Master Plan, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville New Health Sciences Education Complex, several Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) area stormwater master plans, and Third-Party Inspector of Record (TPIR) for green infrastructure construction and runoff reduction within the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD). He has worked on dozens of projects for highways and public transportation for state, county, and municipal agencies throughout Chicago and its collar counties over the last two decades.

Paradoski earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering (Construction) at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Mich., and has completed additional studies in Digital Transformation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition to the three Great Lakes states, he is a registered Professional Engineer in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Mississippi, and Texas. He also served in the United States Army as a Field Artillery Surveyor.
