GZA Associate Principal Dan Amate Promoted to District Office Manager in Metro Philadelphia

GZA has promoted Associate Principal Dan Amate to serve as District Office Manager (DOM) leading its Metro Philadelphia office located in Plymouth Meeting, Penn., and its Hammonton, N.J. office.

A registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and West Virginia, Amate has more than two decades of professional experience in design and construction management of soil, sediment, and groundwater remediation projects at former manufactured gas plant (MGP) sites, Superfund sites in EPA Regions 2 and 3, and manufacturing facilities.  Dan serves as the President of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Philadelphia Post and the chair of their Design and Construction Issues at Hazardous Waste Sites (DCHWS) East Symposium. Amate earned his B.S. in Environmental Systems Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.

Amate is succeeding John Oberer in the role of DOM of the Metro Philadelphia offices, which serve GZA clients throughout the mid-Atlantic region. Oberer will continue in his roles as Principal and Senior Vice President at GZA working out of our Hammonton, N.J., office.
