GZA’s Ben Haith named to board of directors of Central NY Air & Waste Management Association

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE …SYRACUSE, N.Y. and NORWOOD, Mass., August 22, 2019–GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (GZA), a leading multi-disciplinary firm providing geotechnical, environmental, ecological, water, and construction management services, is honored to announce that Ben Haith, a Senior Project Manager and head of GZA’s Syracuse office, has been named to the board of directors of the Air & Waste Management Association’s Central New York chapter.

A&WMA is a non-profit professional organization that promotes knowledge and professional expertise by bringing together more than 9,000 environmental professionals in 65 countries for forums, networking, and education. A&WMA’s Central New York chapter serves approximately 300 members from fields including engineering, compliance management, industrial hygiene, hazardous waste management, legal counsel, government, and more.

Haith has been GZA’s Syracuse District Office Manager since GZA’s June 2012 acquisition of Palmerton Group LLC, where he was a senior project manager. A geologist, Haith has served a wide range of energy and industrial clients in environmental assessment and remediation.

Haith is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in geosciences, and holds a certification in Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material Survey and Control and was a Pennsylvania licensed geologist from 2005 through 2014.
