GZA’s Stephanie Turkot honored by ULI Northern NJ with Women’s Leadership Award

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (GZA), a leading multi-disciplinary firm providing geotechnical, environmental, ecological, water, and construction management services, is honored to announce that Stephanie Turkot, Project Manager will receive the inaugural Women’s Leadership Award from the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Northern New Jersey chapter on May 5.
ULI has set the global standard in recognizing outstanding and transformational land use developments, best practices, and creative visioning. The ULI NNJ Excellence Awards, being given at special gala event in Woodland Park, salute what the chapter describes as “the highest caliber of projects and people within our industry in our region.’’
Stephanie has more than a decade of experience in the environmental industry and at GZA has led site investigations, assessments, and remedial actions.  She has worked on multiple brownfield and Superfund sites in New Jersey, New York, and other states.

Stephanie is an active member of numerous civic and professional organizations, holding leadership positions in several, including the Urban Land Institute, New Jersey Society of Women Environmental Professionals, Midwest Energy Association, Denville Environmental Commission, and the Kiwanis Club of Denville. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from William Paterson University.
