The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection implemented new PFAS statutes for public drinking water supplies in September  2020. GZA's team can help you navigate these complex regulations to help you satisfy your compliance requirements.

Sampling is required of all public water supplies between 1/1/2021 and 10/31/21, depending on population served. PFAS can be present in both the natural and built environment at low levels, requiring careful sampling procedures to capture accurate data. GZA has developed stringent sampling protocols, implemented by experienced PFAS team members. View a selection of our water supply projects.

Let GZA be your responsible technical advocate as you comply with the new state regulations, and reduce uncertainty in your results.
