GZA Congratulates Client Lupoli Companies on Winning 2023 CoStar Impact Award

GZA congratulates its client Lupoli Companies’ “The Pavilion” project on winning the 2023 CoStar Impact Award for the best commercial development in the Boston market as judged by real estate professionals.

The Pavilion is located on the campus of the Riverwalk Innovation District, a bustling mixed-use community in Lawrence, MA that was formerly made up of several dilapidated mills. The Pavilion is a six-story, ground-up construction project with 80,000 SF of office, ground-floor retail, and a regulation-sized synthetic football/soccer/lacrosse field on the roof of a brand new 1,205-car parking facility. 

The Pavilion has become the focal point of Lupoli’s 46-acre Riverwalk Innovation District development, with as many as 20 local youth and adult sports teams using the rooftop field all week long, including school teams from the City of Lawrence, which Lupoli invites to reserve the field at no charge.

GZA has worked closely with Lupoli Companies since 2003 on the Riverwalk project, providing geotechnical engineering and a broad range of environmental assessment services. GZA has also provided similar services to Lupoli Companies for projects in Andover and Lowell, MA and Salem, NH.
