GZA names Dan Shaw as Landscape Architect serving New England, U.S. markets

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., May 1st, 2022--GZA GeoEnvironmental Inc. (GZA), a leading multi-disciplinary firm providing geotechnical, environmental, ecological, water, and construction management services, has named Dan Shaw as a Landscape Architect based in GZA’s Springfield office.

A Massachusetts-registered landscape architect, Shaw has a decade of experience in the Western Massachusetts and Pacific Northwest markets. He brings to GZA clients deep expertise in collaborative design, construction documentation, graphic production, and interdisciplinary coordination with architects, consultants, and construction managers on a wide range of complex projects, including urban waterfront projects incorporating ecological restoration, resiliency, and sustainability.
Shaw earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and the University of Washington, respectively. He performed studio work in New England and Seattle as well as in locations in Central and South America, Italy, Japan, and Scandinavia, earning two Honor Awards from the American Society of Landscape Architects.
